The story has an amazing atmosphere, Alice in Wonderland-like. Aww, I just love your style. 1978jul04's dialgue is so much fun, I read it whole (with my mother's help because my Russian isn't good enough).

To draw chibi-versions is a big deal, yeah ^__~ The most difficult thig is not to oversweeten, but I've got good teachers ^__^
About the atmosphere - well, yes; absolutely yesss with Winnie's intonations. By the way (prolonging the conversation about J-dramas): do you know audiodrama called Are You Alice? It's an audial pervert version with _very_ cool main characters' seyu, and manga itself is good enough. Maybe even _very good_.
I think SideB is the most interesting part of the whole story; the boys grew old, and the mix of Japanese and British makes me shivering.
And: did your mum leaarned Russian in school?

I will have to check out that audio drama! :D Thanks for reminding me of Are You Alice?-- I really liked the manga but the scanlating group was very slow (or was there a scanlating group?) and I stopped caring about this series. I will have to revisit :] The art was lovely, as were the characters.
Side B is amazing, but I prefer earlier canon because I miss Youji and Omi :( Aya's relationship with Yuki is so heartwarming, also with Ken, and I am interested in Michel and Free (for some reason not as much in Chloe), but I just can't take it without my Omi ^^;; Especially when I know he is there, somewhere, alone (missing Aya-kun ;)). If Weiss Side B wasn't a continuation of Weiss Kreuz, I would have loved this manga, but I am hearbroken over Mamoru. He is always alone in that office while Aya and Ken have all the fun haha
Yes, my parents had to study Russian in school :) I am glad about it ;) My mother helped me with reading your Russian translation of the First Mission CD drama, it made me very happy :D (this drama is one of my favorites, I think the mission is very cool) My grandparents also know Russian.

Weeell, my mother was interested enough to hear about Omi's tale of woe (she was laughing before I got to Ouka turning out to be Omi's "sister") ;) She also went through one of my artbooks and she decided that Aya is the most handsome Weiss. She was surprised that little Omi is my favorite haha Oh, and we had a long discussion about Weiss's leadership, about Aya's and Omi's roles within the team (my mother is a psychologist and business coach, so I was interested in her opinion).

Date: 2011-10-07 08:36 pm (UTC)Well, my mother is both a psychologist and a wise person :) She understands toxic behavior, and expecting me to live the way *she* wants would be toxic. She always tries to be supportive, even when she personally doesn't like my ideas. So... she worries when I leave, and she probably would have preferred if I stayed with her and was close forever, but she knows I am a free person above being her daughter. I have a good mother :)

2. А сама история-то - понятна? Боюсь, я привнесла много собственных _внутренних кодов_ - в виде чистого диалога текст теперь кажется мне более внятным. Тут хорошо бы знать предысторию - и вселенную вообще.

Что ж, поступлю как обычно: возьму количеством, которое однажды сделает качественный скачок )
Что касается _быстрого рисунка_ - ну это, сэнсэ: несогласная я. "Дэснота" прекрасна в степени "абсолютно" и при том выделана как крокодиловый чемодан. Вчера, разбирая свои запасы запасённые в поисках свободного места, начала я смотреть недлинную мангу "Соланин" с совершенно прекрасной графикой - и она тоже, тоже вся изрисована вусмерть, вдоль, взад и поперёк )

А Матисса показывать не стала. Очень мне не нравится считать "новоеискусство" искусством. пусть лучше Третьяковку вспоминает и тамскую девочку с персиками.

А вообще я терпеливая и понятливая, даааа. Вот он описал жуткое, противное здание _сэра_ Нормана Фостера , убившее лондонские виды, в качестве лондонской же достопримечательности - а я промолчала, а я даже текст проверила! Где тут фуу, ну где же.
